All Hunter TAFE Libraries have computers available for student use.
Bookings are allowed, but not usually required.
Access varies at different Hunter TAFE campuses.
Contact your Hunter TAFE Library to find out how to book a computer, or drop in and ask at the desk.
Newcastle TAFE Library
There are twenty computers available for booking at Newcastle Campus Library. The booking sheet is located at the information desk and the system is a self booking one. Apart from a few days mid term when assignment levels are high across the Campus, it is usually possible to book a computer on the day you require one.
You might like to call in before class to book a computer - and you can also book ahead for any day of the term to allow you to be sure of a space if you know you have assignments needing to be done.
We usually don't take bookings by phone, and , if students do call in and find that they have picked the moment when all computers are booked, then we try to free up class use computers for use.
Overall, booking on the day is usual, and students in general have no problem gaining access.
