You can ring or visit a TAFE Library or TAFE Student Services centre for assistance with your TAFE Username and password. We can verify your current username and reset the password if it has expired.

Check if your TAFE Username and Password are working in the Student Portal at https://my.tafensw.edu.au.

(Remember to create a Secret Question and Answer in the Student Portal so you can reset your password.)

If your login is current and working in other systems, it's possible the library systems are not working.

Occasionally during the year, TAFE systems undergo vital scheduled maintenance. This means certain systems are not available for use. We endeavour to put a notice on our webpage, but this is not always possible.

If you are a member of your local public library with an existing online login, you may be able to access some EBSCO databases from their website.

The State and National Libraries also have free database access, provided you have registered with them in advance.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Please let us know if your access continues to be problematic after the systems resume operation.
