Answer

TAFE Libraries support students that are undertaking the Library Assistant and Library Technician work experience programs.  However, not all libraries are adequately staffed to provide this training so you would need to check with the Library Manager to find out if the program is offered at your local campus library.  Please contact your local campus library for information about the work experience program.

Library Assistant course
10782 – Certificate III in Library, Information and Cultural Services

Library Technician course
10784 – Diploma in Library and Information Services

More information about these courses is available on the Hunter TAFE website.
