Answer

Dear Md

An easy way to view some online WHS ebooks is to have a look at our WHS Libguide - click on this link: http://huntertafe.libguides.com/c.php?g=244410&p=1626074

In the tab called "Books and DVDs" you will see a box with eBooks.  To view any of these eBooks click on the title and enter your TAFE username and password (this is the same password you use to access WiFi, Tafe Computers, the student Learner Portal etc).  When the book record is displayed - the left of the screen will be the option to click on PDF to view the book or you can click on Download to download the book to a device for a period of time.

If you are after a specific title - try using the TAFEcat search box that is visible in the WHS LibGuide (to the left the eBooks box I have just mentioned).  If the book is an electronic book you can click on the link in the TafeCat record and enter your TAFE Username and Password to view the book online.

If the title is a hardcopy book you can locate it by getting the shelf/call number at the bottom of the record for the campus library you are visiting.

Please let me know if this has helped you today or if you need further assistance.

Kind regards,

Lisa Hodge
